Zambezi Airlines is a private airline based in Lusaka that began operations in July 2008 with domestic flights. The newcomer has already established an excellent reputation for service and punctuality.

After one year Zambezi Airlines started regional operations as well, using two Boeing 737-500 aircraft offering both economy and premier business class service. Routes include Lusaka-Johannesburg, Ndola-Johannesburg, Livingstone-Johannesburg and Lusaka-Dar Es Salaam. Domestic flights are operated by 19-seat commuter-style Embraer 120 aircraft. Golfing equipment is transported free of charge within the free baggage allowance.

Zambezi Airlines intends to expand its route network in the coming years by continued development of services to and from Zambia and through strategic partnerships with other airlines in the region.
