Emirates flies to over 100 destinations in more than 60 countries around the world. Nearly 700 Emirates flights depart from its homebase Dubai each week on their way to destinations on six continents. 

Emirates is the national airline of the United Arab Emirates. Its story begins in 1985, when Emirates flew its first routes out of Dubai with just two aircraft – a leased Boeing 737 and Airbus A300. Nowadays, Emirates’ fleet consists of 134 planes, including the A380, the double- decker aircraft of which Emirates has ordered 58 in total. The first of 120 (!) Airbus A350’s will be delivered to Emirates in 2014.
