airBaltic flies non-stop from Amsterdam and Brussels to Riga, the capital of Latvia. The daily flights from both destinations (no flight on Saturday from Brussels) are operated by a modern Boeing 757-500.

airBaltic, founded in 1995, is the national airline of Latvia, jointly owned by the Latvian state (53 per cent) and the management of airBaltic (47 per cent). From its home country Latvia, airBaltic operates direct flights to 58 destinations. In addition, airBaltic flies from Vilnius (Lithuania) to Copenhagen, Riga and Tallinn, and between Copenhagen and Kaliningrad.

Today airBaltic represents a blend of best practices taken from traditional airlines and low-cost carriers. airBaltic provides a two-class service on board – economy and business. Business class passengers are offered hot meals, a wide choice of drinks, major European newspapers, a bigger baggage allowance and other bonuses. Economy class passengers have the possibility to purchase a (hot) meal on board, which they can order via internet in advance. airBaltic operates on a one-way fare basis, not only for direct but also for transfer flights. The one-way ticket structure allows combining air travel with other means of transportation and gives customers wider options for travel schedule. The prices are competitive; not only with other airlines, but also with the prices of bus, car, train or ferry. Special fares and conditions are offered to groups and corporate travellers.
